The text is illustrated with various black-and-white drawings by various illustrators. Colour illustrated cover by Lloyd Birmingham, with black and white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Heavy creasing, rubbing, chipping and pieces missing to the book cover and a previous owner had placed tape to protect and support -- tape still insitu. The result of insect activity can be seen to be outer edge of the rear panel. Browning to the text block edges and to the internal text.
