About This Item

UK,12mo p/back,author SIGNED,illustrated,1st edn. [Complete number line 67184/001.] FINE. No owner inscrptn but author's handwritten, black ink inscrptn and dedication to title page and no price removal from rear cover.Bright,crisp,clean,sharp-cornered,matt,3-colour (b/w+green) pictorial illustration with fluorescent green gilt decoration to same and to the vertical edges of front cover; with capitalised black-lettered 'AMELIA FANG', white-lettered lower case 'and the,' with capitalised fluorescent green gilt lettered 'MEMORY THIEF' and capitalised,white-lettered author name - all to front cover; spine/backstrip with capitalised, white and fluorescent green gilt lettering to title parts, and capitalised white lettered author name and publisher's name to foot of same, rear cover with matt,3-colour (b/w+green) pictorial illustration with green decorated vertical edges and black-lettered synopsis.Negligible shelf-wear,bumping to edges and corners - no nicks, tears or splits present. The only known but minimal reading creases to spine, are from the author signing possibly, and my own collation definitely. Top+fore-edges coloured green; contents bright, tight, clean, solid and sound - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corner tips - would appear an incompletely read item.UK,12mo p/back,author SIGNED,illustrated,1st edn,3- 211pp [part-paginated] includes 19 chapters, profuse b/w line illustrations throughout the text and the book by Laura Ellen Anderson; plus [unpaginated] b/w illustrated front free endpaper,b/w illustrated+author SIGNED title page,a double-paged Contents list/table,a double-paged b/w Kingdoms (Light and Dark) illustrated map,and a double-paged b/w thumbnail portrait illustrations of story's diverse, eccentric characters. Visually the exterior appearance is exceptional, and particularly internally, the book is also in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation for a book of its age and nature, i.e. an ephemeral p/back or children's book.It really is an exceptional, exemplary example for its cleanliness, brightness, its apparent lack of use and also the lack of detracting faults. Also appears uncommon as an author SIGNED item.
See also my book ID rja1103423 for another author SIGNED title - 'AMELIA FANG and the HALF-MOON HOLIDAY',UK,12mo p/back,illustrated,1st edn. Set in an unusual world full of eccentric characters the series follows the funny adventures of a young vampire with a big heart, Amelia Fang, and her diverse gang of friends. Here, there are always wrongs that need righting, mysteries that need solving and creatures who need rescuing – but whatever the adventure, Amelia and her pals always manage to save the day in their own way.
It's Amelia Fang's big birthnight party and she is VERY excited. But the creatures of Nocturnia are acting strangely and no one can seem to remember anything - even Amelia's party! Has someone stolen their memories? Can Amelia find out why,and save her friends and family, before they have all forgotten who she is?
