Endpapers toned, price clipped jacket has chips and tears to edges with hole on back flap and 3" tear on front flap, pastedowns have small glue stains. Newton relates his experiences as a book collector as well as his knowledge of rare books and his acquaintance with preeminent collectors and booksellers. Color frontispiece and 39 b&w plates. (8-1/4"x5-3/4")
