Large heavy book, dark blue cloth, gilt background at center front for blue title, gilt bright on spine, pale yellow color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 606 pages. DJ heavy paper, light blue background with blue and red lettering, a list of contributors on front: Karl Menniger, Joseph Wood Krutch, John Kieran, Jacques Barzun and many more. DJ has very slight wear to tips and spine edges, very tiny chip at spine top left, two tiny tears also, two tiny tears along spine bottom edge. Good+DJ/Very Fine book.
