New York: C.M. Saxton, 1848. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Brown contemporary calf, 4 raised bands, black leather label, gilt lettered. No date, but publisher's address is 123 Fulton Street indicating probable publication of 1848. 47 plates, (many tinted) of renderings, elevations and layouts with accompanying text. Very light wear, binding is square and sound. Miinor dampstaining to 3 plates and very slight waviness to a few leaves, occasional foxing. Owner's name on endpapes. Most plates are virtually free of any defects. This book is very attractively bound, and is in a very well-preserved condition. A wide range of architectural styles are shown, from classics to country log cabin. There is a total of 47 plates, including layouts, elevations and specfications.
