New York Dick & Fitzgerald, 1864, hardcover. Illustrated with over six hundred engravings [no color plates in this edition]. The baseball section is 10 pages with six engravings including the field layout. -- Hardcover, brown with gold and black decorations, ownership dated 1891, Brooklyn, NY. Condition: poor (binding is broken so that signatures are loose, spine backing is loose, edges are worn--cover letters are fairly bright, and pages and engravings are bright except for several pencil scribbles).
