About This Item
New York: Dick & Fitzgerald, 1866. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. The true first appearance (preceding the 1881 edition) of this scarce early book discussing the rules of various card games, including the first published overview of the rules for poker and whiskey poker. Very good with loss to lower corner of front board and wear to edges (with associated paper loss). Binding firm. Interior clean and unmarked; 154 pages plus ads in front and rear. A decent copy of a title difficult to fine in collectible condition.
