About This Item
Washington: Unknown, 1884. This pamphlet contains the "Speech of Hon. Dan. W. Voorhees, of Indiana, in the Senate of the United States, Friday, April 14, 1882." Senator Voorhees pleads the case of one Daniel McSweeney of San Francisco who languishes in Dundalk Jail. The reason for his arrest by the British remains obscure, though Quercus offers that perhaps it was for Fenian political activity. This is a Very good copy of the First Edition.
