I purchased it New for an American Studies graduate class, and the professor never got to it. This oversized paperback may be a First Edition since I bought it the same year as publication and no later printing history is provided. Filled with black-and-white photographs, drawings, blueprints and ads to complement the text, this book provides a century and a half of architectural design for American middle-class homes, their room set-ups, and the prevalent sense of decor. The book measures 7 7/8 by 10 inches and includes 281 pages. . Oversized Soft Cover. Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
