Brown cloth, gilt design on front cover, 12 mo, 212 pp. Covers show considerable wear, gilt nearly lost, corners bumped, edge wear. Foxing, moisture stains throughout but not affecting ability to read text. Hand written recipes on many blank pages. Overall, this looks like a cook book that was used in the kitchen, but still uncommon. Endpapers are ads for Lewis & Menzies baking powder and soap. Book condition Good-.
