New York: William Wood & Co., 1867. Published 1867. Hard to find guide for growing herbs and vegetables for home consumption, illustrated with engravings. Brown cloth with gilt spine lettering, 152 pages, advertisement for vegetable and flower seeds (Henry R. Dreer Co.) mounted to front pastedown. Covers heavily rubbed and spotted, corners and spine ends lightly frayed, internally better with good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with a name and town written boldly on the preliminary blank, no other markings. Externally fair, internally very good.. Half-Leather. Good/No. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
