About This Item
Art Institute of Chicago, 1940. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. This hardcover features clean square maroon cloth boards with gilt titles, with no apparent shelf or edge wear, and glossy unmarked pages. Off-white endpapers show ageing and light soil. Inscribed on ffep: "To Mrs. Blum, with my very best regards, Narcissa Thorne." A very faint "old" smell. Quite beautiful, unusual, and collectible.
