About This Item

New York: William Morrow, 1978. Hardcover. Good +/good. Oversize & Heavy, 192 p.; Index. B&W and Color photographs and black & white illustrations. "A historical survey of the rugs, carpets and other rug coverings that have graced America's floors for over 300 years. Here for the first time is a historical survey of rugs, carpets and other coverings that have graced America's floors over the past 300 years. Spanning an enormous range, from dirt floors to AstroTurf, from floorcloths and oilcloths to vinyl tiles, from handmade rugs to machine-made carpets, this book is the fruit of original research." Book is in good condition, but shows some age. Cover edges and hinges show wear and rubbing and bumping. Top of page block and edges have some spotting, there is tanning of all edges. Dust jacket has wear, edges bumped and rubbed and there is a small tear at the top of the spine. Soiling, mostly from dust, at the edges. A price tag on front jacket. Unclipped flap.

About Trolls Treasure

Home-based, online sales only. I am running out of space to keep my collection of books, but I cannot bypass any chance offered at searching out some interesting venue offering books. I dithered for quite some time over this problem, and went right on buying books, until it occurred to me that I could make room for new purchases if I started selling some of my books. So, here I am, a small business, but offering personal service. Happy to answer questions.
