Philadelphia: J B Lippincott & Co, 1863. Later edition. 3/4morocco. Very good. 510p + index, illustrated. A very good copy in 3/4 brown morocco and marbled boards, inner hinges cracked. Bookplate of Boies Penrose II (Senator from Pennsylvania ) Also belonged to Charles B Penrose with his ownership signature on the title page. Penrose 1862-1925 was a physician who got caught up in the Johnson County War.
