Tan paper-covered boards with black lettering, quarto, pp. 79 plus blank bid sheet at rear. Shelf wear/ chipping and rubbing at spine ends and board tips. Nicks and handling notches on fore-edge. In addition to the Compleat Angler items extolled by the auction house, a First Edition copy of the John Eliot Indian Bible (UP-BIBLUM GOD . . . .), the Indian issue of the first complete Bible printed in America, is included with an illustration of the title page. Other title pages are featured, as well. The paper-covered boards on this catalog are a bit of a fragile affair after the many decades, but it is stored now in a clear new Ultra-Pro sleeve.
