Fine exact facsimile of the original edition with a new introduction and portrait of the author. The book is bound in red goat skin with a patinated sterling silver medallion by Lois Green inset on front cover and matching slipcase in red Dutch book cloth. Included in the book is an original Palladium photograph titled "Mount Tupper" by Craig Richards. Fine condition First book on the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Because of Green's explorations the famous Chateau Lake Louise hotel was situated and built by Canadian Pacific Railway. 1998
