About This Item
First edition hardcover with dust jacket. Published by Beacon Press, 1957. This is a book club edition. A character study about an old-timer living in rural New England. The dust jacket is intact though it shows some edge wear and age fading to the edges, no tears or rips though. Text is clean and the binding is tight, though like the dust jacket, there is some age fading to the edges of the text. A good reading copy. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
