Boston: Cupples, Upham and Co., 1883. Hardcover. Good +. 7 x 9 1/2 in. 80 pp. Half brown morocco with brown cloth boards, 5 raised spine bands with gilt lettering. Numerous full-pg B&W photos with tissue. Condition is GOOD+ ; corners worn, covers clean and leather good. Spine is missing area at lower title and head. The front hinge is cracked but holding. Ffep and following blank pg partly detached. The binding remains well and the text is easy to move through. Text is clean and bright with PO's name on last pg. Illus are very good. A very scarce book. Ancient Hist. RGR.
