Street & Smith Publications, New York, 1961. First Edition. Paper. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Various. Ephemera 150 g.; IV, 5-178 pages. The text is illustrated with numerous drawings by various artists including Van Dongen and Ivie. Colour illustrated front cover, by Van Dongen, with yellow, purple, black and white titles to the front panel and white titles to the backstrip. In the middle of the book is a section of 16 pages of black-and-white photography detailing "scientific breakthroughs". This book is showing its age with creasing, Chipping, rubbing and various stains to the panels and internal text. The results of insect activity can be seen on the spine and along the front fore panel edge. Analog Science Magazine from September 1961.
