Washington, D.C: Wm. Ballantyne & Sons, 1898. First edition. Softcover. Very good. 16mo. with printed paper wrappers. 94pp. plus inserted portrait of Stewart. Title page has the inscription: "Compliments of the author Wm. M. Stewart, June 15th, 1898. " Stewart was a U. S. Senator from the State of Nevada. His treatise contains chapters on money, value, prices, bimetallism, foreign commerce, labor and currency. Wrappers lightly soiled with small chip to the top left hand corner of rear wrapper and some offsetting to the front wrapper. Text is clean.
