Blue cloth with silver titling to spine in unclipped dustjacket. Covers faded, foxing to end papers, browning of some page edges, some minor spotting, mainly to page edges and index. Dustjacket tatty, pieces missing. In 1947 the Australian Government established the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions - the ANARE - which maintained bases after that date.
