About This Item
Toronto: Macmillan of Canada, 1965. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and fresh. The paper has darkned slightly, but there are no signatures, marks, or wear. The green covers are bright, with just a touch of wear visible at tips and corners. The dust jacket is also in very good condition, with minor wear and one small purple stain in the top right hand corner of the front panel. This should be visible in the attached scan. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover and looks very nice. Synopsis: Set around the turn of the century. Ten-year old Andy Tolliver and his best friend Mouse Wilkins are in the mood for celebration. School is out, the little town of Harmony is getting ready to celebrate its one-hundredth birthday party, and a circus was coming to town. Andy, however, is soon preoccupied with a mystery involivng a tall dark stranger, a bank robbery, and an unpleaant fellow called Hairy Ears.
