Contemporary Green Calf Half-Leather Binding with 5 Raised Bands to spine. Gilt title on Red ground in 2nd compartment with attractive Gilt Decoration filling the others. Marbled paper-covered-boards with large Leather Corners. Endpapers and all page edges Marbles (Combed Pattern). 384 Pages, 370g, 6 1/2" Tall. Antique Gift inscription on back of frontis dated 1852. Another beneath dated 1895. Old bookseller note penciled on ffep. No other inscriptions. Only a very occasional spot of foxing. most pages in very good, clean condition. Some edge wear to leather and a tiny bit missing from top corner of spine (see photos). Hinges sound & Binding firm. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Half-Leather. Near Very Good.
