About This Item
U.S.A.: Scribners, 2007. First Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Raul Colon. First Printing (1-10). A first print copy in fine condition in a near fine unclipped and mylar protected dustjacket---signed by McCourt on the title page without inscription. A classic story from McCourt of how little Angela (from a story told by his mother when McCourt was very young) saw the baby Jesus in the manger at St. Joseph's church---and was moved enough to take him home after seeing that he was cold and without a blanket. Sure to be a timeless classic children's story from the Pulitzer Prize winning author. A relatively small first print run and the signature from McCourt make this a real collector's copy. This is the larger format illustrated Children's issue--as there is also an adult version. The dustjacket has just light minimal rubbing and a small closed end tear.
