Meets all 5 first edition/1st printing points, it has no remainder mark, and it is a Review Copy with the 'coming May 2000 Simon & Schuster/Po cket Books' advertising cardboard tag laid in. SIGNED by the author on the title page. The book is fine: straight, very clean including its page edges, tightly bound, and it has no previous owner marks. The spine ends have a bit of shelving softening to spine cloth and, to be 'really' picky about describing, when the book was put together at the printer's, they left a very narrow soft 1-3/4" 'wrinkle' in the middle of the lower portion of the pastedown paper where it wasn't glued down flat to the back of the front board - varies in width from 1/16" to about 1/8" wide. There's nothing wrong with the pastedown paper or the front board; appears the glue just didn't get spread evenly enough. The dustjacket is Fine - price intact, clean, crisp and unfaded with no faults. The first Robert Langdon mystery and the author's 2nd book. The Illuminatti is involved in a battle between science and religion. A much smaller printing than The Da Vinci Code as Dan Brown wasn't yet a well-known author so scarce signed 'and' without a remainder mark.
