A lifetime of fishing adventures told in 26 chapters. A very clean and crisp copy. 135pp. Charles Hallock (1834-1917) was an American author and publisher, and avid sportsman. He founded "Forest and Stream" in 1873, which later merged with its major competitor, "Field and Stream". He originated the code of uniform game laws, and, with others, started the first great U.S. game preserve in Pennsylvania. . First Edition. Purple Cloth. Minor Cover Wear/No Dust Jacket. Thin Octavo.
