Title page is nearly detached; margins are closely trimmed with no text loss but for a portion of the price on the title page; contents clean. Includes the votes around the recently signed Treaty of Seville (1729) reaffirming among other things, British control of Gibraltar that was ceded to them in 1713. In addition to the votes there is a nearly 2-page dissent on various aspects. There are several sections related to the Pension and Mutiny bills as well as a vote to cease maintaining a 12,000-soldier Hessian mercenary force because of the expense. This vote is accompanied by a dissenting argument for the value of such a force of foreign troops. ESTC T57735.
