All edges are gilded. Silk moire end leaves and sewn in book mark. Un-used Easton Press "The Signed First Editions of Science Fiction" book plate is laid in, along with the four page introduction by James Gunn. Near Fine with a couple of small scuffs on the gilded fore edge. Otherwise Fine copy in As New condition. . Signed by the Author. First Edition. Full Leather. Near Fine/No Dust Jacket. Illus. by Kent Bash.
Synopsis
Angry Candy is a 1988 collection of short stories by Harlan Ellison that is loosely organized around the theme of death. The title comes the last line of the poem "the Cambridge ladies who live in furnished souls" by e. e. cummings, "... the/ moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy. " The collection contains the short story "Eidolons" which won the 1989 Locus poll award for best short story.
