New York: Selmar Hess, Publisher. Wraps. Good. no date, presumed 1880s. Blue printed wraps. Pagination runs 565-596, with text presumably beginning mid-passage at the beginning. Color plate of a rhinoceros at the front, with black and white illustrations of various deer, the camel, llama, race horses including mustangs and Arab horses, donkeys and zebras. A single part (#19) of this work that is often found as a complete bound volume, presumably originally issued in parts as this. With sections on deer, the camel, llama, race horses such as mustangs and Arab horses, the zebra, etc. GOOD condition. Offsetting along the wrappers' extremities. Minor soiling, fading and toning. Faint owner's stamp on the lower front cover. Minor toning in the interior.
