Joseph Jacquin was the editor-in-chief of the illustrated children's periodical Mon journal. This is one of the ten albums he and Thompson adapted from work by Graham Clifton Bingham between 1903 and 1922. Cloth spine and boards in very good, clean condition. A little bumping to the corners only, with some light marking to the white rear board. B/w and colour illustration, both full-page and in text - all very clean and fresh looking. The central gather is detached at the staples, but very neatly and could be repaired. 255 x 315 mm (10 x 12½ inches). . Première édition. Livre cartonné illustré pour enfants. Avec de délicieuses illustrations en couleur de G. H. Thompson. Non daté mais circa 1905. Joseph Jacquin était le rédacteur en chef du périodique illustré pour enfants Mon journal. Il s'agit de l'un des dix albums qu'il a adaptés avec Thompson d'après l'œuvre de Graham Clifton Bingham entre 1903 et 1922. Le dos et les planches sont en très bon état. Les coins sont un peu abîmés et le dos blanc de la planche porte une légère marque. Illustrations en noir et blanc et en couleur, en pleine page et dans le texte - toutes très propres et d'apparence fraîche. La frontispice centrale est détachée au niveau des agrafes, mais très proprement et pourrait être réparée. 255 x 315 mm
