New York: Columbia University Press, 1927-1931. first edition. Hardcover. Very good. 8 x 11 in. Maroon cloth boards with gilt titles. Frontis portrait, B&W plates. History of the New York theatre from the mid-eighteenth c. on. Condition is VERY GOOD ; covers very clean. Mild bumping and wear to corners and spine ends. Vols 5 and 6 have partial sunning to boards. Vol. 7 has a faint water stain and some of the text paper has a little waviness from contact with water, but otherwise the text is fine. Vol. 7 also has loss to the paper covering the front inner joint, with a slight weakness to the joint, but not significant. All other bindings are tight. Text in all vols clean and unmarked. Scarce 7 vol. run. Drama. Stax.
