Totten. 130 pp. and ANNUAL OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES FOR 1866. Contents include many of the same listings as in previous Reports, plus Biographical Notice of James Melville Gilliss; Memoir of Benjamin Silliman and Obituary of Dr. Edward Hitchcock. 154 pp. Salmon colored covers. String-tied. ex.mus. stamp and numbers on front covers. Mildly soiled. One report missing a 2" x 3/4" piece at base of front cover with 1 1/2" tear at spine's crease. 2 Reports with missing paper pieces on spine. Overall covers are Good. All intact. Interiors are clean, tight and Very Good+. A. D. Bache was President. Scarce. . Wraps. Good. Size: Approx. 5 " x 7 1/2". Academy of Sciences.
