New York: Boni and Liveright, 1922. Padraic Colum (1881-1972) was an Irish poet, playwright, and an editor for his friend James Joyce. This anthology went to several printings but is uncommon these days (it was reprinted in 1986). This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition. Blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. Clean text; 361 pages. Includes Notes, Index of Authors, and an Index of First Lines. Top-edge is gilt, others rough-cut. This copy mildly bumped with the spine lettering faded. Unfortunately, the spine has separated and needs regluing. Please note the condition issue. Quercus must offer this book as a Binding Copy, in need of resoration or repair. No dustjacket. . First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
