London: Fanfrolico Press, 1928. Limited Edition. half leather and cloth. Very good. Norman Lindsay. (1928). Folio (12" x 15"), half blue morocco and navy cloth. 62pp. plus the plates, which are unpagiinated. 7 mildly erotic plates by Norman Lindsay. The corners and head and tail are worn, particularly the tail. There is some acid staiining where the leather turn-ins touch the endpapers. A short crack at the front bottom hinge. Quite nice and clean inside. Beautiful paper. A new translation by P. R. Stephenson. This edition is limited to five hundred and fifty copies printed on Arnold's Handmade paper. This is copy number 456.Lovely typography, in Poliphilus Type and printed in London by Botolph. The colophon page is shown in the pictures.
