Consists of series of chapters, each dealing with a characteristic aspect of the comedies. The focus of the study is an extended examination of "The Winter's Tale". Riemer is an academic at the University of Sydney known for his study of Shakespeare, and also for his popular books describing his migrant experiences (he was born in Hungary).
