Titled on the bottom:'Élévation de la Charpente du Comble pour le Service de la Machine du Chemin Ceintré et idées ou esquisse de Decorations d'un Salon dans lequel Médée poignarde ses enfans á / la vue de Jason, et démolition d'un Tombeau enflammé avec le Service des éclairs'; Elevation of the framework of the roof serving the machine for [creating] the wave motion, and ideas or sketches of scenery for a hall in which Medea stabs her children at the sight of Jason, and [the] demolition of an enflamed tomb with lightning facilities.' from 'L'Encyclopedie'.
