About This Item
New York: E. Weyhe, 1922. Hardcover. 65p. followed by 95 "figures", i.e. plates, usually one fullpage figure each, one color image set as the frontispiece, the b&w reproduced clearly (at best) accompanied by a few diagrammatic images. The color frontis is quite vivid. Hardbound in grey papered boards with a grey cloth backstrip (spine-titled in legible white) and a simple cover label. All paperstock within, whether matte (text) or glazed, is alkaline, while the boards are a bit toned. This is a very good copy of the third edition (it went into at least four), sound, clean, and unmarked in any way.
