London: The Camden Society, 1846. 1st edition. Hardcover. ,Larger 8vo,,Bound in original green cloth; blocked in blind and gilt. Signed,Preface in English; text in Latin. Binding shows light rubbing to extremities, and light scuffing & staining to cloth. Small chip to spine. Rear hinge starting. Minor chipping to some pages. Overall, in good plus, to very good, condition. First published in 1846 by the Society, and now a very scarce title, having recently been reprinted in facsimile by AMS Press, but very difficult to find in the original edition. pp. cclxxi, 276. Publication no. xxxiv of the Council of the Camden Society. Elegant bookplate on front pastedown.
