The life and times of Lavoisier, a chemist, a liberal economist and social reformer - one of the greatest Frenchmen. 335 pages with 17 pages of illustrations and 15 diagrams/figures. Book in very good condition ex library with sticker and stamp and previous owners name and date on first page, two small stamps on title page, stamp on publisher page, stamp on side and bottom edges, stamps and references and borrower remnants on last page, reference on inside back cover, stamp on second last page and light tanning. Dust jacket in good condition in clear wrapper, price clipped, wear to some edges and chips to corners, some damage to top back and sticker on spine.
