Vestiges of the past meets the present picture. Artist sensitivity establishes the link between what was and what is being: material to be used as an aid in future of history. Nascimento (b. Antonina, Brazil, 1951) is an established award winning fine art phographer. Biography: Professor aposentado do Departamento de Design da Universidade Federal do Paraná. Graduado em Pintura e Licenciatura em Desenho pela EMBAP (77-79), mestre em Comunicação e Semiótica pela PUC-SP (94). Atua nas áreas das artes plásticas, fotografia e design gráfico. Participou das mais importantes mostras de artes e fotografia no Brasil. Editou o livro fotográfico "Antonina dos Meus Dias" (82), "Revisitado" (94); co-autor de "Festival de Inverno da UFPR-11 anos de cultura, arte e cidadania" (2001); "Crônicas da Capela" (2006) e inúmeras séries de cartões postais. Como artista plástico, fez cinco exposições individuais e dezenas de participações em salões e mostras coletivas desde a década de setenta. Citado no livro "Em torno da fotografia no Brasil" de Pietro Maria Bardi (87) e verbete no "Dicionário de Pintores Brasileiros" de Valmir Ayala (97); citado no "40 anos de amistoso envolvimento com a arte" de Ennio Marques Ferreira (2006) e no "Dicionário das Artes Plásticas do Paraná" de Adalice Araújo (2006).
