This is number 1254, Signed by Author. The book was printed by the Riverside Press, Edinburgh, from hand-set type on English hand-made paper. Full cream vellum over beveled boards, gilt vignette on cover, spine lettered in gilt & title page in red and black with woodcut vignette, (vi) 340pp. Interior of text it tight, clean & intact. Bookplate from noted author & photographer Carl Van Vechten's personal library. Prose, Literature; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 340 pages; Signed by Author .
