The text reads: My Alex dear, my velvet bunny, my cotton chick, my comb of honey, my jelly bean, my chocolate rabbit, my gum-drop, my inveterate habit, my oeuf dur dyed a lovely red, my good right hand, my steady head, my rock, my heavy sugar pepper, my safety valve, my trouble stepper, my better half, my sturdy oak, my haven, refuge, reef and cloak, my life-preserver, my umbrella, my parachute, my cyclone cellar, my goose that lays the golden egg: sweet greetings from your easter (P)eg. The sheet folded in half, top to bottom, and in thirds side to side and inserted into a small envelope addressed "Mr. Alexander Brook/Easter Surprise, and with a drawing of a bunny and a basket of eggs. Provenance, Estate of Alexander Brook, Jr. (Sandy Brook). The sheet and envelope in excellent condition.
