Fine/Good. 305pp text + 513 separate photographs; Second edition; Text written entirely in Italian; This wonderful two-volume set has information on many of the Italian villas in the area, along with fantastic photos of the homes; Both books are in incredible condition, with virtually no wear, and appearing largely unread; The DJ's are paper, and do have some stains, primarily on the spines; One of the DJ's has a small (1/4") hole around the middle of the spine; These come in a cardboard slipcover that is white with black and red lettering on its faces, and red on all sides; The slipcover does have substantial soiling and there is a large crack along the top edge that mostly separates the top from the face; There is a small chip out of the slipcover along the side; This set is extremely heavy and may require additional shipping charges; Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Off White cloth. Very fine in very fine dust jacket. The catalogue of Maya Lin's 2006 exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery. An attractive production. The cover is embossed with the artist's "Waterline.

Tokyo: Shokokusha Publishing Co 1964. Signed on the title page and dated by the author. Additionally Inscribed: Aug 26, 1965 To: Frank Jones Best Wishes Masao Kinoshita. First edition / First printing. Brown cloth with gilt title on front cover in English and Japanese title in white on the spine. Fine in very good slipcase With rubbing and wear. Clear plastic jacket is not present. Both white paper flaps with author information in English and Japanese are present and are in near fine condition. Text in English and Japanese. Kinoshita worked with Sasaski, Walker and Associates; Eero Saarinen and Associates, and other prestigious firms and schools.

Very rare complete set of 12x original colour postcards (undated, but from 1929-1930). Unused and in Very Good condition (with very occasional spotting). All but 1 bear the printed signature 'JOHNS'. Illustrated by WE Johns who was later to create 'Biggles'. Though no publisher is stated, these were published by WE Johns' "Aircraft & General Fine Art Company" in East Grinstead, Sussex. Navy cloth spine, light gray-blue paper-covered boards. Near fine in price-clipped, fine dust jacket. The author's first book. Franzen grew up in Webster Groves, a suburb of St. Louis. This book was published in September of 1988.

Ex-Library, light foxing and occasional small marginal stains, spine tops of volumes 1 & 2 chipped (1 is light), all hinges intact, but leather is somewhat weak in many with some resultant cracking, some rubbing of extremities, esp. corners: VG. 8vo.
