New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1926. HB. Half yellow cloth and green and gold patterned boards, gilt lettering on spine, 12mo, 292 pp. Wescott (1901-1987) was a Wisconsin born member of the American expatriate literary community in France after World War I. Clean, unmarked book, binding tight. Gilt designs on covers bright, but spine lettering somewhat rubbed. In an unclipped ($2.00) green dust jacket with a farm scene and subtitle "A Story of Southern Wisconsin" on front panel. Rear panel has publisher's ads. Dust jacket shows minor chipping, top of front and rear inside folds creased, minor browning to dust jacket spine. Book condition VG+ in VG DJ.
