John Lane, The Bodley Head, London, 1925. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 237pp + ii publisher's advertisements at the rear. Yellow cloth lettered in black at the spine and upper board. Whistler provides fourteen captioned plates, one in colour, and Forster-Knight seven plates; and there are a further nineteen chapter header and tail piece illustrations and vignettes, and a five panel fold-out sketch map at rear. One Forster-Knight plate is a little nicked and darkened at the edges, although the illustration itself is undamaged. Former owner details inked to the front pastedown. Cloth somewhat marked and grubby, yet a very crisp and bright copy internally. No dust wrapper..
