Rabbi and biblical and medieval Jewish scholar Henry Englander was born in Hungary in 1877. He was a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and other organizations. He was also the author of many publications in the field of Biblical Exegesis, including The Exodus in the Bible, The Men of the Great Synagogue, and Rashi's View of the Weak Roots. Englander died in 1951. Uncommon.
