Dublin & London: James McGlashan & William S. Orr, 1848. Here is a rather attractive mid-Victorian guidebook to Irish antiquities. This is a Very Good (Plus) to near Fine copy of the First Edition. Green decorative cloth binding, stamped on the covers with Celtic knotwork and cross; on the front the cross is filled with gilt. The spine lettering and decorations are gilt. Clean text; xvii, 176 pages, with eight pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Ninety-one illustrations. Small bookseller's label on the front paste-down, and a faint stamp on the Title Page.
