Physically 8¾” x 5¾” (0.7 kg); 242pp; Index; Illustrated with B&W photographs and tables. Bideford Bay To Bridgwater. This is the first detailed archaeological study of the region. It covers the whole of Exmoor, extends into the country around it, and includes the Quantock and the Brendon Hills. The book is arranged in chronological sequence from the Old Stone Age to Medieval times, with chapters on such general topics as later history, communications and folklore. It is well illustrated with drawings and photo- graphs and gives a complete picture of the continuing life in the area through the centuries. Eight two-colour period distribution maps give the National Grid Reference for each site and find spot, and there are appendices on archaeological touring by car and on foot. About BookLovers of Bath

BookLovers of Bath is set in the pastoral idyll of Peasedown St. John in Somerset (God's Own Country) in the south west of England. My wife and I owned the village Post Office until the modern world caught up with us in 2014. At that point I converted the premises to a small book shop, Fact or Fable, with a stock of around 4,000 titles in stock. I've been selling books worldwide since 1997 and rather hope to get the hang of it shortly…
