Philippe Starck (.1949) is most well known for his work as a designer, for example of chairs, beds, tables and kitchen equipment. In this book his architectural activity (up to date of publication in 1994) is dealt with for the first time, and includes his interiors for the Cafe Costes, the office building known as "Le Baron Vert" in Osaka and his prefabricated house for "3 Suisses"..
