Tight, faintest age tanning of pages, clean interior except for interlinear English vocabulary notations in first 50 pages, soiled exterior page edges, square with slight flare to cover corners. The play, one of the major dramatic works of the modern Spanish theater, (In the Burning Darkness), written in 1947, made its debut in The Teatro María Guerrero in Madrid on 1 December 1950 and was made into a 1958 film. 196 pages including biography, commentary, exercises and vocabulary. Text in Spanish.
